Sanitation and Specialised Cleaning

Sanitation is the key to good pest control.

Our technicians at Sunshine Coast Pest Control Ltd are trained to provide provide consultations to businesses and home owners on how to eliminate areas of poor sanitation and specialised cleaning.

Below are some examples of poor sanitation we have observed.

Garbage should be stored in pest proof containers and not left in bags out in the open.

Trash Containers and Dumpsters around your business should  be emptied on a frequency great enough to ensure the garbage is not allowed to overflow and spill out to attract rodents and birds. Properly fitting lids and covers, ideally made of metal (not plastic which can bend and warp) should be used.

Storage Areas should be checked regularly. Clutter and rubbish should be removed and if rodents do manage to get in the area should be rodent proofed and deep cleaned.
