Spider Control

At Sunshine Coast Pest Control Ltd in line with I.P.M. regulations we offer three different spider control solutions:

PESTICIDE FREE SOLUTION - ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE

A thorough crack and crevice including joins in wood panelling, baseboards, ceiling joins, vaulted ceilings may be enough to bring your spider problem down to an acceptable level.

Our technicians at Sunshine Coast Pest Control Ltd carry a state of the art backpack vacuum system with equipment with two stage HEPA filters. This allows them to move around a property safely and without redistributing dust and particles back into your room.

Each is equipped with extension pieces and powerful pumps which allow the technician to reach up to the highest ceilings without loss of suction.

Sealing interior and exterior cracks

PESTICIDE FREE SOLUTION - ENVIRONMENTALLY RESPONSIBLE

The crack & crevice vacuum may not give you the improvement in the reduction of the number of spiders, or the frequency of the vacuuming may be too short. The next stage of spider control we would recommend is sealing all interior and exterior cracks and crevices using a good quality caulk.

We have carried this out for numerous customers with great results. Care is taken to choose the correct colour of caulk, so that the results are ascetically pleasing as well as functional.

Even the hardest to reach areas are never a problem and can be caulked safely using the correct ladders, staging and safely equipment.

Chemical intervention

For many customers their injury level for spiders is very low, some even have an allergic reaction and cannot sit out on their patio’s or decks in the evening. In theses cases the use of a pesticide is the the most appropriate course of action. Not all pesticides are registered for spider control, so it is important that you request spider control when booking any exterior treatment (see preparation instructions).
